METHODOLOGY/DESIGN- This research study is a quantitative study with an experimental research design.
PROBLEM STATEMENT- Parent caregivers of children who require lifesaving technology must constantly maintain vigilance. Poor physical and psychological health can negatively impact their ability to do so.
PURPOSE STATEMENT- The aim of this study is to test the success of a Resourcefulness Training intervention designed for parent caregivers of technology-dependent children and provide interventions to improve their overall well-being.
INDEPENDENT VARIABLE- Resourcefulness Training arm
DEPENDENT VARIABLE- Parent caregivers of technology-dependent children
INTERVENTION- The Resourcefulness Training arm.
HYPOTHESIS/RESEARCH QUESTION: When implementing the Resourceful training arm, does it improve parent caregivers’ physical and psychological health of technology-dependent children?
