Nurses make up the greatest number of providers in the health care system. Based on all the readings and activities you have done up to this point

Describe the role of nurses/nursing in developing health care policy as it currently exits and as you think it should be. Be specific and provide examples.
Compare and contrast what the DNP can bring to the development of health policy with that of what other health care professions (physicians, PTs, Pharmacists) can bring.
Identify the barriers nurses, including DNPs, face in formulating health care policy.
