Assignment 1
The course project topic that I have chosen as my contemporary social issues is homelessness. Homelessness highlights poverty by controlling production to favor and benefit the rich and elitist. Talcott Parsons functionalist theory and Karl Marx’s social conflict theory will be used in this paper to relate to homelessness and the challenge of homelessness in the American society.
