PICO Question Peer Discussion
A nursing problem compares nursing interventions with each other to address a problem (massage vs distraction to address pain) compares a nursing intervention to a medical intervention to address a problem (distraction vs medication to address pain) and can also compare collaborative interventions (physical therapy, dietary consultation, social services etc)
If your PICO involves comparing medications with each other or other physician dependent interventions to address a problem this is not a nursing problem.
You cannot use the following topics as they have been well researched:

After reading Chapter 10 & 11, think about a situation or question that has risen from clinical practice. Using the guidelines from your text, complete the following:
