Mental Health Fair Presentation- Online Classes
For this class, you have one project- that is the Mental Health Fair Brochure and Presentation. Each student will research one topic (see Brochure instructions) and compose a professional brochure that is informative and shares what you have found about your chosen topic.
The second part of this project is a presentation. This presentation will be submitted online (you do NOT have to come to campus to give a presentation).
Online students will need to use the same information you researched for your brochure (same topic, same research, same information), and compose a PowerPoint presentation. Prezi may also be used.
Think of it this way: if you were in class, you would have to present the information you researched for the brochure, to the class on a visual aid (poster, tri-fold poster, demonstration, board game, etc.). Since we are online, your presentation is your visual aid that you are sharing with the class. So, you want your presentation to be creative, to capture the class’s attention, and to present your information in a way that they understand this topic better after seeing your presentation.
Presentations must be at least 12 slides long, with the first slide stating your topic, your name, your class and section, and the semester date. The last slide must be a References slide, listing all References used. In text citations must be given within each slide that refers to research. Use the same sources you used for your brochure (you can add additional sources if you would like to).
Include images that represent your topic.
