The Research Project is an extended expository essay on a topic of your choice. It is expository, rather than persuasive, so you are expected to discuss both sides of an argument impartially, and use logos to reveal the stronger side. The research project counts for 30% of your grade. Assessment is based on the quality of the final work, as well as the effort you put into improving your drafts.
