Silents can be loud
Thesis: Mental illnesses are estimated to afflict one out of every four persons at some point in their lives. Many people are suffering due to unfair treatment with insurance companies that are dealing with mental health issues to prove that I will talk about patients that really deal with mental health issues, insurance firms should provide affordable mental health and pay for the upkeep of the out-patient help.
I. Mental health disorders a person can go through psychological and emotional well-being.
A. What is depression?
1. Having the feeling of sadness or lack of interest in life.
B. How much help do patients need with mental health?

II. Insurance Companies
A. PPO
1. Universal network of healthcare providers to use for your medical care at a certain rate.
2. Offers you the freedom to receive care from any healthcare provider
B. HMO
1. In network of doctors, hospitals and other healthcare providers who provide their services for a specific payment, which allows the HMO to maintain costs for its members.
C. Government funded insurance
1. IEHP-how much do the help with covering mental health
2. Medicare- how much do the help with covering mental health
3. Champ VA- how much do the help with covering mental health
4. Tricare – how much do the help with covering mental health
III. Outpatient therapy
A. What does a PPO insurance cover
1. out-of-pocket costs for long-lasting treatment
B. What does an HMO insurance cover
1. imposing lower out-of-pocket cost than PPOs

IV. Conclusion
Mental Health is a fundamental problem many must go through, and I believe there should not be any finical hiccups when it comes to getting help from an insurance company. Diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders like these covered by our health care insurance plans Mental health has just as much effect on the body as does physical health. Many people deal with unfair mental treatment by their insurance companies’ patients that really deal with mental health issues, insurance firms should provide affordable mental health and pay for the upkeep of the out-patient help.
