What/who is your subject? – My subject is my first date with my wife.

Who is your audience? – My audience is my fellow classmates and professor.

What is the purpose of your paper? – The purpose of my paper is to highlight the importance of the decisions we make and how it could impact our future.

Journalist Questions:

Who was involved? – The people involved are my wife and myself.

What happened? – I surprised my girlfriend by flying out to Virginia to surprise her and spend some time with her.

When did the event take place? – The event took place in the summer month of August, shortly before September began.

Where did it occur? – It occurred in Queens, NY, and Richmond VA.

Why did the event happen? – The event happened because of us meeting in an online video game called “Rise of Kingdoms”. She had randomly joined the team I had created, and we really became great friends immediately. The more we started talking, the more I never wanted the conversation to end, and it led to us trying to make the time to meet each other and go on a date.

How did it happen? – While she was in Nursing School, I flew out to Richmond VA and took an Uber to meet her in the city. Little did I know that after that first date, I would end up moving to Virginia, finding a new job, and getting married. Not returning back to NYC for a long time.

Initial Thesis Statement: The outcomes of our lives can greatly be impacted by the people we get the opportunity to meet.

Details and Sensory Appeal:

Sentence 1: I laid in bed anxiously all night, finding myself constantly reaching over to grab my phone to check the time and make sure I wouldn’t be late to my flight.

Sentence 2: While the plane was descending into Richmond VA, my heart sunk, and I could feel my stomach in a knot as I was so anxious for what was to come.

Sentence 3: After checking in for the flight, I had to run as fast as I could while wheeling my luggage across the marble floors at the Airport.

Sentence 4: While traveling into Richmond, every red light felt like hours, and I could not stop looking at all the buildings as they were not as tall in height as I expected.

Sentence 5: When getting out of the Car, I saw her standing up on the hill in bright turquoise scrubs standing next to a pearl white car.
