I am a mature student with rich life and work experience. After graduating from high school in the UK, I interned at several international architecture designed firms like OMA Beijing Office and Super Potato in Japan because I was advised to have exposure in organization before entering architecture school. I am glad it was a wise decision because the practices made me realize that architecture is not my thing.

I spent the following 6 years traveling around the world, seeking life direction. When I was in early 20s, I moved to South Korea, taught myself photography, and ran a Korean idol fan site for three years. I have taking photos at countless events while traveling around the world, visited dozens of countries in Europe, South America and Southeast Asia. During this time, I was able to make some money as a freelancer taking photos for the publishers of the local news or other websites. This is also the period I picked up language skills.

I went back to China in 2015. After helped the family business for a year, I got a chance to work in a film and TV company. I progressed from ADR recording assistant to sound director in 4 years as a result of mastering sound production skills through self-learning. In order to spare more time to explore more sectors in the industry, I left the company in 2020 yet continue working as a freelancer with a more flexible timetable. After that, the acquisition of film shooting, editing, DI and special effects techniques through website videos and online courses finally build up my confidence. Due to which, I got more exposure in different sectors of the film and TV production industry.
