FINAL EXAM QUESTION #1: In what ways does the Jihad Jane case

FINAL EXAM

QUESTION #1: In what ways does the Jihad Jane case exemplify the charge of “conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization”?

QUESTION #2: How might the Buffalo attack illustrate both leaderless and lone wolf terrorism?

QUESTION #3: Use at least two cases from the McCann readings to illustrate how PCVE practices may have been used to prevent the attacks from happening in the first place.

The idea on my end is that I ask a question about concepts from the readings and lectures and that you then show me that you understand these concepts and can successfully use real-world events to illustrate those concepts. This is not a research paper

I expect 3-4 paragraph answers for each question.

Each 3-4 paragraph answer for each question requires in-text citations from either the lecture, assigned readings, and/or outside sources. These citations are from outside readings printed in peer-reviewed journals, academic presses, or executive-level publications. Law journals do not count.

You are required to use transition words throughout and ensure it flows smoothly.

You are encouraged to utilize the assigned readings listed below:

Please read only the 1905 introduction to the book by Professor Walter Fleming.  The book was published the same year as the play The Clansman which was the basis of the 1915 epic film, The Birth of a Nation.

Note that Dr. Fleming’s criticism of the book is that it is too harsh on the Klan.  1915 would also mark the beginning of the 2nd Klan era, an era which romanticized Klan activities and downplayed Klan violence.
