Your assignment is to write a resume appropriate for your the next step you hope to take in your career. What position are you currently working towards? Along with your resume include a sample job posting that details what position you are applying for. It is important to make sure that your Resume shows that you meet or surpass the stated requirements for a position. It should also highlight relevant acheivements that illustrate your best qualities.
Half of the assignment is to figure out what is appropriate. Every industry has a way specific to them to present credentials. Pilot resumes need to be one page, while a curriculum vitaes in academia can end up being many pages. Identify what is appropriate for your field, then write a resume. Make it good; you may be using it sooner than you think.
