Qualitative research question.

What are the experiences of communities living with offenders who were previously incarnated?

Quantitative research question.

What are the most crucial factors to consider before allowing offenders to enter the community?

Mixed-methodology research question.

Which is the most significant predictor of bringing back offenders to the community, and how does it impact people living within the community?

The quantitative research question captures the research problem the best. This is because its main objective is to capture the most critical factors to be considered before offenders are allowed back into the community. In addition, a community will be skeptical about offenders returning to society since they are worried if they have similar behaviors before they were incarcerated. The quantitative question will help analyze trends and patterns to make logical sense of the research problem. Also, the question will assist in gathering data that can be generalized to the study population.

Moreover, this will assist in making data-driven and reasonable decisions. The study question will help discover the factors put in place to help offenders return to the community. In addition, the quantitative research question will allow participants to answer concisely. The research will enable the reach of a higher sample size. For this reason, reaching an accurate generalized conclusion will be easier. Also, there will be additional data from the research question that will give ensure their more incredible credulity on the shared outcome. This is because there will be a statistical analysis with more depth to review. Also, the question will help focus on facts about the scope of the study. In addition, this will be useful when a series of data points is desirable within the demographic of the study.

The qualitative research question is the one that represents the type of research questions in the field of my study. In social sciences, a scientific method focuses on the meaning of distinct factors in people’s lives and their accounts of how they grasp their behavior and beliefs. Qualitative research is the most common method used in social sciences to collect data. Also, qualitative research starts with open-ended observation and analysis (Sutton & Austin, 2015).

While creating the qualitative research question, I noticed it might greatly help the research problem since it will not generalize the findings to a broader population. In addition, the question will attempt to find behavior examples and clarify the thoughts and feelings of the research population. I was surprised by the question’s capability to grasp a vast population to solve the research problem. While crafting the question, what stood out was the focus of the question on the meaning of disparate factors of communities and how they understand their feelings. Also, the question was concerned about the community’s behavior would be defined.

Crafting the quantitative question made me notice that it would help solve the research more reliably and faster. Also, it would be easy to select different sampling methods and criteria for selecting study participants. In addition, the question would be capable of making predictions generalizing outcomes in the study. I was surprised that the questions would be crucial in formulating the study’s most suitable data collection method. The question was on convergent reasoning since it would help generate ideas about the research problem. What stood out was that the question would allow ideas to flow freely.

Crafting the mixed-methodology research question made me notice that it would be crucial in helping to balance out the study’s limitations. I was surprised that the question could provide more substantial evidence and confidence in the study. What stood out was that the question would help a researcher to gain depth and breadth of the research in a better efficient way.
