When I was a CNA(certified nurse assistant) few a couple months ago, I can say I was on Proficient level based on that role. Recently I transitioned into a CNE (clinical nurse extern) doing the role of Patient Care Techs in the ED (drawing blood, attending to trauma, vital signs assessment etc), I feel as though I am back to Advance beginner level. Because of my previous role as a CNA in the ED, I am familiar with most of the skills that PCT does. All of this are in preparation for me to be a Nurse one day.
