Request for Proposals
Wilmington University is seeking applications for funding from CRJ 450 Students related to solving a Criminal Justice Problem.
Purpose Areas
Applications are limited to organizations/agencies in the states of Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and NJ.
Organizations / Agencies must present proposals to solve a Criminal Justice related problem including:law enforcement programs
prosecution and court programs
prevention and education programs
corrections and community corrections
drug treatment and enforcement
crime victim and witness initiatives
juvenile justice
domestic violence and planning
evaluation
technology improvement programs
Prohibited Uses
Proposals solely used for equipment purchases are ineligible.
Requested funds must be used to supplement existing funds for program activities and cannot replace or supplant funds that have been appropriated for the same purpose. For example program funds must be used to enhance current budgets and existing staff and resources cannot be utilized in the budget request.
Length of Awards
All programs must be designed for a total of 12 months. Project start dates should be requested based on project design.
All research conducted for this course must be the first time original work of the student. Research submitted in any other course is not acceptable and to submit it will be considered a violation of ethics.
Application Submission:
During this course applicants can submit draft applications for review from the professor. Please check the current CRJ 450 schedule for due dates for sections review. All work must be electronically submitted and completed on the CRJ 450 Application for review. Work formatted in other methods will not be accepted.
