This week, I want to see that you are engaging with the library to conduct research for your paper! So, I am not assigning a reading; instead, you are going to find a scholarly source related to your research and report on that. The goal here is to practice using the library resources and provide extra experience looking for sources that can be useful for you.
Once you have found a source, read through it and answer the following questions.
Instructions:
1) Find and read a scholarly article through the library that relates to your topic.
2) Open a new document
3) Format in MLA
4) Respond to the following prompts
What is the title of your source? (Format the title properly!)
Who is/are the author(s) of your source?
Which library database did you use (remember, you should not be using Google or any search engine other than the library’s)
What key words or phrases did you use?
Did you filter the search results in any way?
In at least 100 words, summarize the article.
In at least 100 words, evaluate the article and the author. Do you think the source is credible? Why?
In at least 100 words, respond to the article. What did you think about it?
