1. Create a character profile of Odysseus. Write down as many details/descriptive words about him as you can.
2. Thinking about your response to question one, would you want Odysseus as your leader? Think about this one a minute before answering, and give a detailed explanation.
3. What do you know about the race of the Cyclopes? How does one of the characteristics of this race lead to Polyphemus’ downfall?
4. The Greeks highly valued hospitality. What outrage does (the cyclops) Polyphemus visit on his guests? What sin did Odysseus commit? Do two wrongs make a right?
