For this assignment, you are choosing any concept, theory, philosophy, or idea that we have read about or discussed this term and diving deeper into its meaning and history. (You should have made this choice last week for the history report topics assignment.) Your report should do the following:
1. Give an account of origin if possible;
2. Trace the conceptual and humanistic history associated with your chosen topic;
3. Provide at least two examples, however you see fit, in giving the most rich account of your chosen topic (you might consider film, art, architecture, literature, graphic design, music, etc.);
4. Speak to the importance and/or impact of your topic on the Humanities and on humankind more broadly.
Please type your report in paragraph form in a Word document and upload here. Specific requirements include:
1. Times New Roman Font, size 12, 1-inch margins, double-spaced;
2. A title that reflects the scope and spirit of the report;
3. Proper MLA Format, including parenthetical citations and a Works Cited page for references you use;
4. 2-3 pages in length. (If you turn in a paper less than 2 pages, double-spaced, you will not receive higher than a 70 for the assignment.)
