Find
a current conflict that you think could be resolved through negotiation. It
could be local, statewide, national, or international. Identify the
stakeholders, the players (who could negotiate a resolution), and the real
issue at hand. Come up with a negotiation strategy that might help the players
reach an agreed resolution. The focus of your presentation should be on the
strategy/process.
You are encouraged to be creative! Consider what
steps in a negotiation process might be used, which ones would be beneficial or
potentially unhelpful, what each stakeholder would want in the process, etc.
Put together a presentation that discusses the the conflict you chose, the process you think will work best, and the reasons for
