Making a research proposal, I enjoyed the most was the literature review. This was my most challenging part as there so many scholars and how they did the research and coming to their findings. My proposed study is on Prejudice and Discrimination pm the elderly folks in the work field. I was impressed by all the studies that has been done. This is a study that I want to keep track of not just because I am older person, but I like to see if any change in the future that will help older folks stay in working field. I have seen so many older folks years ago be let go with compassion or was forced out from their job because of their age. Back then I look up the laws which does protect the older folks with their jobs, however it is hard to prove age discrimination or prejudice.
Most study had used different tool in their research. Such as data from records using a common data collection spreadsheet and assessed studies Cochrane Risk of Bias Tool and used the Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development, and Evaluations. This was proved that the older you get the hard it is to maintain a job or getting a job. Wyman, M. F., Shiovitz-Ezra, S., Bengel, J., Ayalon, L.,
