Your assignment this week is to conduct an Internet search for careers that you are potentially interested in. There are many websites that will support this effort and a few of these are listed on your assignment page (attached here). At these sites, you can explore job opportunities, average salaries, and job classifications among other career-related topics. If the site that you choose is listed in career clusters (such as business, professional, technical, health, and so on), select three specific careers within the cluster to complete this assignment.
Your assignment should be completed directly on the worksheet attached. I have attached this both as a .doc and a .pdf in case one format is better for individuals. After researching and identifying careers, you will answer the questions on this worksheet (identifying specific information such as job description, average wages earned, region of the United States most likely to have opportunities, potential growth of the job in the future, potential for advancement, etc.). After you have recorded the information on each of these three chosen careers, decide which of the careers you would choose to pursue. Be sure to review the rubric prior to submitting your assignment!
