My daughter and I both did this experiment. My daughter reports that with her eyes closed she first saw two bright light lines of the light bulb, then she saw a very small blue dot and a very small purple dot and then only darkness while her eyes were closed. She stated that after she opened her eyes, she saw the dots for a while after. When I did the experiment, I see the two lines from the light bulb with a dark rectangle behind it and it lightens up around the edges. There are two black lines going vertical on both sides and a light grey line horizontal across the bottom.
