Imagine that you are working for a large corporation as the manager of information security and have been asked by the Chief Executive Officer to explain how corporate data is protected using encryption. The CEO is interested in 2 concepts they heard about related to symmetric and asymmetric encryption and how the all-important secret keys (that could unlock the company secrets) are exchanged.
Describe and discuss symmetric and asymmetric encryption and then compare and contrast the key features of each.
