Megan, an 18 year old senior high school soccer player made an attempt to kick the ball downfield during a game.  The field was wet from the rain it received earlier that day, when Megan went to strike the ball her plant foot slipped on the wet turf and she fell backwards landing on her back and striking the back of her head on the ground.
You run out onto the field and find Megan conscious but “out of sorts.” You provide a quick neurological screening to rule out any type of cervical fracture.  Once a cervical and facial fractures are ruled out, she is brought to the sidelines for further evaluation.

Discuss why eye tests can help in your evaluation of a head injury, and list what conditions you should test for? (Remember, you’ve already ruled out a fracture).  What findings or responses from the patient would require you to alert EMS during her sideline evaluation? (Explain your answer is detail)
