Your essay is merely a writing sample and will not be graded, but it will be used for assessment purposes and is due by 8/31 at 11:59pm. It should include all of your information (name, class, professor, date) in the upper left-hand corner and provide a full introduction, three body sections and a conclusion. It will discuss the following concept:
Explore the story of reading your favorite work of literature or pop culture book. Your introduction should relate how you came to read this particular tale and its meaning to you, the body sections should develop the emotional impact (or that “grounded cognition” feeling) it had on you while reading, and your conclusion should discuss any lasting changes or insights you took away from the experience.
Your paper should be at least 2 pages in length.
