The purpose of the gender argument paper it to present beliefs or conclusions related to a gender-related topic. You must choose from the list of topics I have provided for you  and choose a different topic from it for each paper. The introduction of the paper should have a one to three sentence thesis statement. This is a statement that demonstrates your perception of the issue (for example, “In this paper, I will argue that the gender wage gap is a result of sexism in the labor force”). The aim is not to argue if this is an issue but rather why it is or how to help address it. It should include references from the text and at least two scholarly, peer reviewed articles.  The paper should be APA formatted including references and citations with a title page and reference page (please see rubric for guidance on this). With the topics, you can narrow them down further for your specific paper. The paper should be double spaced, with one-inch margins 4 pages in length. The title and reference pages do not count in the page limit and you will lose points for not adhering to the page limit (please see rubric for guidance on this). Acceptable fonts 12-point Times New Roman.Guidelines and Expectations for Argument Papers
