System Based Approach
A system-based approach focuses on viewing the system’s overall structure from a broad perspective, which includes the systems configurations and sequences, rather than looking at the issues from a narrow or specific point of view. This broad perspective allows the public health leaders to develop adequate skills to take the initiative and lead in a culturally and economically diverse community. Furthermore, the positive factor about using a system-based approach is it increases productivity, can be cost-saving, requires communication, and engagement. The system factor focuses on addressing any complex issues that might arrive during the task, and the design factor focuses on identifying the problems and finding a solution. Lastly, the risk factor focuses on identifying what issues can arise and therefore addressing such issues through identification, assessment, and management (Clarkson et al., 2018).
