a) Provide descriptive statistics by using the Data Analysis function.
b) Create a Histogram table (frequency distribution) with the Data Analysis function, and a chart with adjacent columns (without gaps). Use the following bin ranges: 4, 8, 12, 16, 20.
2) If you have qualitative raw data (no numbers), e.g. one column in a spreadsheet with a list of various colors with multiple occurrences (blue, blue, green, yellow, green, green … you have to create this data) how would you automate the process of generating a frequency table? Create a list of at least 20 data points with at least three categories and show how to count all occurrences of each category with an Excel formula. Tip: We used this formula in week 2.
3) Ch54 Charting Tricks
Use the data below and create a combination chart with a secondary axis. Include some data labels. You have to handle
missing data with the “Connect data points with line” option. Show your chart.
