How do emotions affect our performance at work

My objective is to conclude if there are certain root causes of these environmentally-driven positive affects that universally impact people at the same level, and induce the same level of pleasure, regardless of additional outside factors. Things such as particular scent levels and temperatures within an office, can be subjective when quantifying if they are ‘pleasurable’ or not to each individual. I’m curious to see if there are either universally accepted scents that are deemed ‘pleasurable’, such as brewed coffee or laundry detergent, which generate the same positive reaction to a survey or experiment regardless of the subject, or if there is an environmental ‘bell curve’, where it is universally accepted that a particular scent and the level at which is is dispersed, cohesively creates the most pleasurable environment across the board. My aim is to uncover which particular, gender-neural scent generates the highest level of pleasure, therefore positively impacting overall employee performance.INSTRUCTIONS• Include an introduction which states what you are studying and why it is important to the field or society). Introduce findings from the peer-reviewed literature to build your case or what has been done and how your research fits with and adds to what is already known. The goal is to tell what you are going to study and why based on what has been done before. Why is this the next step or how does this add to what we already know? State your specific hypotheses using null and alternative hypothesis format.• The format should include an interesting introduction as to why this matters, a literature review of what has been done and what is missing, and what you are studying based on the literature review. This should include how the articles relate to your topic (i.e., what questions do they raise and how do they help you build your arguments)? It should be written in third person.• Make sure to also state the variables involved – independent and dependent, and any mediating (i.e., intervening) or moderating variables that may be present, and their findings. Include correlational variables as well.• Finally, include citations within your paper and a references section in APA format.
