Earth Interior Incomplete Concept Map

Purpose: Describe the basic components of the interior of a Terrestrial Planet like Earth.
Skills and Knowledge: The purpose of this assignment is to help you practice linking
different concepts together in a visual map, as you identify the
different layers making up Earth’s inner structure. This assignment will
also help you to become familiar with planetary interiors in the Solar
System in general and how different planets (and moons) interiors
compare to each other.
Task: A partially completed concept map is shown below. Redraw the map (on your own paper or in your own file) and add nodes labeled: Convection, Liquid Outer Core, Magnetic field, Plates, Plate Tectonics. Draw in links to these new nodes and label them appropriately.

Options for completing this assignment:
Handwrite your completed concept map on a blank sheet of paper and upload a scan/image of the page or
Put your map into a Word doc or similar file and upload the file.
Criteria for Success: I have made an example
(without answers!) of what your map might look like. Note that the added nodes are just examples, not hints.Redraw given base map accurately.
Add the five new nodes to your map.
Connect the new nodes to the base nodes appropriately.
