Amplify – A Design Solution to Improve the Centre for Appropriate Technology (CfAT) Hotspot in the Remote Areas of Cape York

Please read pages 14-16 (Design Area Two: ICT) of the attached 2021 Engineers Without Borders Challenge Design Brief. Please read section 2.5 (Improving the CfAT Hotspot) of the 2021 Engineers Without Borders Challenge Design Brief and introduce a design solution as follows: a handheld device named Amplify (with an offline map and other features) that can be used to locate the nearest Centre for Appropriate Technology (CfAT) Hotspot and improve the signal strength that users can receive on their mobile devices. This PowerPoint presentation is the continuation of a previous assignment. Please read the previous assignment and the Project Management Plan for your reference. Please go through the example presentations to see what the oral presentation should be like. (An example presentation is available here: https://digmedia.cdu.edu.au/ssdcms/ipublic.do?u=2b7c0211d7524b1 ) Please go through the other attached resources as well.Please include photos, clearly labelled diagrams and sketches of a prototype/model of the proposed design solution. You could make the prototype/model using cardboard, paper, foil, wood and/or anything else. Please take photos of the prototype/model from various angles and include them in the presentation. Please provide references for other images used in the presentation. Please include a pamphlet promoting the Amplify device as one of the slides. Please provide a 150 word footnote for each slide. When the PowerPoint presentation is complete, record yourself doing the presentation and reading the footnotes. The presentation should be 10 minutes long. Please follow the instructions and the grading rubric carefully.
