The purpose of this assignment is for you to practice the first four steps of the database design process. In this assignment, you will design an entity-relationship (ER) diagram, and then cast that ER diagram into a relational database schema diagram while also making refinements to the final set of relation schemas. The end result of this exercise will be two diagrams: an ER diagram and its associated relational database schema diagram.
