POP culture SHORT summary and evaluation

Option B: Those who were NOT able to attend the Día de los muertos event on November 2:
For those wanting to know more about Día de los muertos, here are a couple of resources:

For those who aren’t able to attend the on-campus event, you can consult the above resources (and any others that you find) and share your thoughts on this holiday, what it means, and how it fits into your understanding of “popular culture”. OR, if you prefer, you can write about another popular culture practice that is widespread in your own culture and community and that resonates powerfully with you. Tell us about this practice or custom and why it is meaningful to you and how it shapes your understanding of “popular culture.”
I would love for this to be an occasion where we all get to learn about the different cultural practices that we all bring with us and that makes this class such a wonderfully diverse forum of treasured voices and traditions.
