1. Critically analyse how corporate strategies are determined demonstrating good understanding of the complex skills and knowledge necessary to evaluate one or more strategic decision-making models.

2. Differentiate between and determine appropriate strategic choices, using advanced skills in conducting research.

3. Critically identify the barriers to the implementation of the choices, considering the consequences of strategy implementation.

4. Develop effective communication skills to be able to present key results and recommend appropriate strategic action.

5. Critically review and apply a range of approaches to the formulation of strategy of an organisation.

Assignment TWO: This assessment will assess Learning Outcomes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

It has 10 credits out of the overall 15 assessment credits.

Covid-19 has transformed the world in less than 6 months. But what might its impact ultimately be for higher education? Universities UK has recognised the serious financial challenges ahead and it was reported that there will be a loss of tuition fees estimated at £2.6bn in 2021. With further pressure like restricted research funding, universities are facing significant financial challenges ahead.

Using UK universities as examples, identify the internal strengths and weaknesses of the institution and critically evaluate the strategy adopted by the institution to deal with the challenges.
