NURS 350 Baccalaureate Role Development: Provider or Care, Manager of Care, and Member of a Profession
Team Assignment: Nursing Theorist Power Point Presentation Instructions and Rubric
Teams are randomly assigned with specific roles. You can change roles with mutual consent of team decision.
Team Leader: Initiate and ensure communication between team members, sets team assignment deadlines, post chosen theorist to the Nursing Student Lounge discussion forum after team has chosen a theorist (no duplicate theorists), make edits as needed to project, submit PowerPoint to discussion forum in week 5.
Researcher: Find, sort through, and compile evidence-based information to include in the PowerPoint presentation as it relates to the criteria outlined in the grading rubric.
Writer: Assemble project information into PowerPoint slides including note slides as outlined in the grading rubric.
Team creates an 8-10 slide PowerPoint presentation about chosen theorist in APA format with at least 3 references.
Every student will submit the PowerPoint to the dropbox due week 5 for individual grades.
Each student will provide 3 responses to PowerPoints other than their own in week 5.
Peer Evaluation: Each team member will complete an evaluation for the other members on their own team (for example, if there are 4 members, each student will complete 3 peer evaluations). These evaluations need to be submitted to the drop box in week 5.
Each student will be graded for the team assignment collaboratively and the peer evaluation and discussion individually.
