The title of my project is: Creating Cleanliness Through Cleaning Stations.
Who will benefit from your project?
The parents, kids and staff will benefit from my project.
Where are the people located that will benefit from your project?
The people that will benefit from this project will be located at the daycare.
What date do you plan on implementing your project?
I plan on implementing my project on October 9th.
How long will your project take
This project will take about 2 months to finish.
Budget requirements of your project (how much money will it take to implement your project)?
My budget for this project will be $100. This will include the station the soap and the paper towels.
Why did you decided to do this project?
I’ve decided to do this project because the Corona Virus is spreading rapid across schools and daycare. I consider it my responsibility to contribute to health.
What do you hope to achieve by doing this project?
I really hope to achieve minimal or no spread of Corona Virus.
What do you need to help you complete this project?
I will need a washing station outside where the kids play, hand soap and paper towels.
Will your project have long-term effects? If so, what are they? If none. Why not?
Yes, my project will have long term effects. The highest quality cluster‐RCTs suggest respiratory virus spread can be prevented by hygienic measures, such as hand washing, especially around younger children. Benefit from reduced transmission from children to household members is broadly supported also in other study designs where the potential for confounding is greater. (Kozlowski, 2012)
Will the project be sustainable? If so, how will you sustain the project?
How will your project be evaluated?
Yes, we will use sink water for the station.
Evaluation will happen weekly according to kids getting sick and kids washing their hands
Are there any risks associated with the project?
There could be a risk of slip and fall if water is spilled.
Is there anything that may prevent your project from succeeding? If so, what?
If the kids don’t use the station, it can stunt the success of my project.
