Imagine that you are a health information analyst. You are asked to conduct an analysis of public health rates for deaths and autopsies, to evaluate or compare to your hospital’s rates.
Part I.
Go to the CDC website. https://wonder.cdc.gov/
Click on Detailed Mortality Rate
Select State as the Region
Click on Send (right-hand side of the blue bar)
Select at least three states and compare the deaths to the population.
Discuss the Death Rates for each state, then compare them.
Click on Chart (from Tabs at the top of the page)
Include a print screen of the chart (with appropriate citing).
Describe your observations and make conclusions.

Below is death rate information for your hospital. Compare your hospital’s rates to your findings from the CDC. Then complete analysis of death rate from year-to-year, as well as autopsy rate. Provide a summary of your conclusions
