Assignment 3: Reflection

My selected artifacts include extensive analysis on diversity, management of ethics, human resource management, transition, and case studies. The artifacts provide comprehensive knowledge, exposure, and understanding of how different aspects of strategic planning affect the performance and productivity of organizations. Also, an integral artifact that I comprehensively examined comprised leaders, leadership approaches and theories, and the role of leadership in the management and competitiveness of organizations. These artifacts provide critical knowledge and insights on how to enhance competitiveness and strategic performance. The knowledge is crucial for continued growth and development in my career and productivity in whatever I serve in the future.

The examination of case studies focused on supply chain case studies which developed insights into how to increase operational efficiency and productivity. The supply chain case studies are built on the knowledge of critical thinking, decision-making, and data interpretations (Dziubaniuk & Nyholm, 2020). These are essential features for the well-rounded manager and strategic thinker to find competitive strategies. Knowledge of such content is critical to positively impact professional development and capacity to engage in diverse environments. The ability to manage various suppliers and ascertain timely deliveries is vital for the competitive growth and development of the organization. Thus, in my capacity, I can steer competitive and strategic growth and performance.

Human resource management and transition constitute an integral component of an organization. The most strategic asset in an organization includes its human resource capital. The management of the human resource, assignment of roles based on competence, guiding them, and influencing competitiveness are integral for future creativity and innovations. In this capacity, I know how to instill positive growth and competitiveness in the organization through my knowledge of human resources. Effective management of transition in the organization can positively impact the development and continuity of an organization. It is fundamental to focus on building a vibrant team that can operate effectively by itself towards overall performance and competitiveness.

Ethics and diversity artifacts impact the building of a passionate, empathetic, and focused individual. As an individual who highly respects diversity in the organization, this was a profound addition to my skills and competence. Through understanding diversity, I hold the knowledge to expand my capacity as a performer, team player and concerned with others. This is vital to mold competent skills such as ethics which impacts the establishment of trust in an organization (Bilan et al., 2019). Organizations with a high level of trust impact the performance and continued growth of the company. It is integral to mold ethical culture, which impacts the overall organizational culture of the organization you are working for. The knowledge expansion through this artifact is crucial for future organizational and leadership skills. Thus, it will positively impact my capacity to work with others and nurture ethical and moral values in corporate practices.

Leadership approaches and theories and examination of best leaders such as Elon Musk cultivated an inspiration to be the best we can be in our work. The case study of Elon Musk instilled core values such as the need for visionary leadership, problem-solving skills, and aspirations to better the situation you are in as fundamental features in a leader (Edmondson, 2018). This posits the need for an effective communicator to bring your subordinates closer and work with them closely. Also, it impacts the growth of natural leadership skills that help manage others effectively. Furthermore, the examination of participative leadership theory illustrated the need to be prepared for any eventuality (Cherry, 2021). This is integral for competitiveness and continued growth and expansion of my capacity as a leader. The achievement of each artifact provides a measure of effectiveness and impact on the management of different areas tasked with the responsibility to handle, thus enhancing the realization of set milestones in the respective areas.

The respective artifacts play a critical role in the efficiency and productivity of organizations. The capacity to engage and utilize all the artifacts presents an essential opportunity to develop a holistic environment for enhanced competitiveness. Therefore, as a leader, these are vital facets to effective leadership and inducing positive growth in the organization. Thus, leadership efficiency will be impacted by all the artifacts providing sound and innovative management of an organization.
