Discussion of Your Own Perspective of Human Population Dynamics<\/div>\n

In first post answer the following questions:<\/div>\n
1. Were you surprised by the demographic trends discussed by Hans Rosling? Explain why and what you were surprised to learn.<\/div>\n
2. There are those who disagree with Hans Rosling’s observations about family sizes and demographic trends. Provide an argument that we should be concerned about population trends based on one of the following issues:<\/div>\n
    \n
  1. \u00a0 \u00a0The movement of refugees throughout the world including into the United States.<\/li>\n
  2. \u00a0 \u00a0The environmental impacts of feeding a growing global population.<\/li>\n
  3. \u00a0 \u00a0Government policies regarding less developed countries such as providing financial aid, and other resources. As citizens of the world, do we have an obligation to help countries that are less developed?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    3. The results of the 2020 Census indicate that U.S. population growth over the last decade is at the lowest rate since the 1930s. If this trend continues then, without immigration, the U.S. is at risk of a population decline.<\/div>\n
