This assignment is meant to help you get organized for writing your final literature review. <\/p>\n
Task<\/p>\n
Step One: Choose a prewriting strategy<\/p>\n
There are lots of effective ways to get organized, and every writer has their own preference. The key is to choose something that helps you lay out all your ideas and plans and put them into logical order. Common choices include outlines or organizational maps (***you are welcome to simply build on or revise the Sources Map or Synthesis Matrix you completed in DB 4.2 based on the feedback you received from your group***). <\/p>\n
Step Two: Complete your prewriting<\/p>\n
Be sure that no matter which strategy you have chosen in Step 1, you are demonstrating the organization of ideas and sources and you are making connections among sources.<\/p>\n
Criteria<\/p>\n
The literature review prewriting counts for 5% of your final grade based on the following criteria:<\/p>\n
Are ideas organized logically?<\/p>\n
Has the topic been thought through from all angles? Are there any major gaps?<\/p>\n
Is it clear where sources will fit in?<\/p>\n
Are there connections between sources?<\/p>\n
