Purpose<\/p>\n
The purpose of the one-page summaries is for you to capture the most important points from the lecture\/ readings and describe how they might inform your personal or group DEI intervention plan AND the field of HRD (Human resource and development)\/ DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion).<\/p>\n

The summary should explain the text\/ lecture to someone who has not read it. It should describe the support the author provided for their assertions\/research. \u00a0<\/p>\n
It should be in your own words and include few if any direct quotes.<\/p>\n

Include the citation at the top of the paper along with your name, date, and course.<\/p>\n
Include a thesis or overall main idea.<\/p>\n

Conclude with how you might use the findings to inform your personal DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) plan\/ intervention.<\/p>\n
