You are tasked with creating a health disparities presentation on a special population covered in our course textbook. Once you have selected your special population and a health disparity impacting this population, you will create a presentation discussing the population and health disparity. You will also discuss some of the key underlying and socio-determinants of health mentioned in our course text. A major component of the assignment will require you to record yourself discussing the presentation, and to comment on a peer\u2019s submission. This assignment is due by November 18, 2022.<\/p>\n
Assignment: Recall the special populations chapters (7-12) covered in the multicultural health course and a health disparity impacting your selected population. <\/p>\n
Choose one of the special populations below: <\/p>\n
Hispanic\/Latinx, Asian- American, Native Indigenous Populations, African- Americans, European and Mediterranean American Populations, Non-Ethnic Cultures (LGBTQIA, Immigrants, Refugees, People with Disabilities) <\/p>\n
Choose a health disparity impacting your selected special population:<\/p>\n
Examples of disparities: High-quality education, Nutritious food, Decent and safe housing, Affordable, reliable public transportation, culturally sensitive health care providers, Health insurance, clean water, and non-polluted air.<\/p>\n

Your Presentation slide-deck should not exceed 10 Slides. Please be succinct and clear. All video recordings should take at least 6-8 minutes. I suggest using video recording capabilities or any additional technologies, you deem useful. <\/p>\n
