Roku, INC: Deep Dive<\/p>\n
The company that I have decided on investigating is Roku, INC, it is a popularly company when it comes to the new age smart tv services. Personally, it is my all-time favorite when choosing between Roku or Amazon Fire Sticks. It has good speed, great security and simply options rather than what is displayed on Amazons services. With doing this report, I expect to gain some insight and understanding into Roku\u2019s business facing side of things. The information that will be gathered over the investigation well help provide me with how the company moves through day-to-day operations, spendings and changes. At the end of the investigation, I expect to be able to have a conversations or discussion with a Roku executive on the internal information I gathered. Or I hope to achieve more understanding on how the company shifts or reorganizes based on yearly information that is gathered from both the customer and business facing sides. <\/p>\n
Three factors that stick out to me when doing this investigation on Roku, INC are financials, like where the spending is highest, what changes affect the financials. Another factor would be employees, why was there an increase\/decrease of new employees or what is determining the turnover rate. The last one I would focus on would be goods and services. For instance, why was this item discontinued, or how come this item is so hot on the shelfs. <\/p>\n
The first main tool that will carry this investigation would be google, there is no shortage of links\/information on there that could get us exactly where we need to be when it comes to any news on the factors I chose above. The second would be CNB, this one would give us any up-to-date news on Roku when it comes to their financials, employees or even goods and services. <\/p>\n
Going through this investigation will give us all the information needed to better understand Roku\u2019s dynamic when it comes to their business functionality. Besides the factors listed above, there are many more that can be included in this report to give a clearer understanding of the company. In addition to those factors, there are more sources that can be used other than the ones I provided to gain more knowledge on the company. With all the knowledge gained, I expect to be able to talk with someone that has no knowledge of the company, and they feel they have all the information from my report to make their own assumption of the data provided.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
