Sharon should also maintain eye contact while speaking with Alice to establish a sense of trust and open communication. <\/p>\n<p> A location for the negotiation session<\/p>\n<p> Whenever an individual wants to have a confidential conversation, it is good to look for a quiet place with less traffic and distractions. Therefore, Sharon should look for such a place when conversing with Alice. A confidential office space should be allocated and reserved ahead of the conversation. Sharon should also create plenty of time to allow them enough time to communicate effectively and come to an agreement. <\/p>\n<p> Situation(s) when Sharon should use tacit communication.<\/p>\n<p> The main goal of the conversation between Sharon and Alice is to come to a common ground. On the contrary, overt communication consists of explicit and implicit elements. Also, Sharon can use overt communication by expressing herself professionally while negotiating with Alice. <\/p>\n<p> The impact of overt and tacit communication in these situations<\/p>\n<p> Tacit communication is a gesture that Sharon should use when communicating with Alice. However, Sharon should use overt communication to communicate sincere messages to Alice.
