Grade composition will be as follows: <\/p>\n
10 points for Grammar, Spelling, Etc.<\/p>\n
5 points for Formatting (double spaced, page #s, proper length, etc.)<\/p>\n
5 points for Following Instructions and on time completion. <\/p>\n
30 points for content, discussion, and analysis.<\/p>\n
50 points total <\/p>\n
Assignment Criteria <\/p>\n
Length: Approximately 4 pages double spaced<\/p>\n
Do not double space your name, class title, etc. <\/p>\n
Format: Standard margins, font, double spaced, page numbers, etc. <\/p>\n
Citation: You should utilize quotes longer than a sentence or two. However, if you use outside material it needs to be documented. There\u2019s no requirement for how you cite \u2013 just that you do it if applicable. <\/p>\n
Step #1: Intro & Structure <\/p>\n
So, this \u201ccase study\u201d is less of a case study and more of a short research paper. Not overly hard, but it does require you to potentially hunt down some information. <\/p>\n
Basically, your goal is to identify and discuss 5 ethics rules, regulations, mandates etc. that apply to your job (or future job) that you think are the most important for ethical public service. You can either develop these 5 yourself, or you can identify 5 from existing sources.<\/p>\n

Step #2 Requirements<\/p>\n
(#1) Identify 5 ethical considerations, rules, or regulations that you consider to be the most important for your profession or future profession.<\/p>\n
(#2) Explain the importance of each one (from #1).<\/p>\n
(#3) Explain the challenges faced in implanting or following each of the 5 (from #1).<\/p>\n
And of course, you should have a basic introduction and conclusion. <\/p>\n
Sources: you should have 2-4 good sources (by good sources I mean no Wikipedia and obviously, if you only use 2, they better be high quality). <\/p>\n
