Using an internet search engine or some other source such as a textbook, identify a case study that meets the diagnostic criteria for the diagnosis or construct you selected.\u00a0The case study may be a real person or a fictional character.<\/p>\n
You\u00a0MUST\u00a0demonstrate evidence of specific behaviors of the case study that meet the specific diagnostic criteria of the diagnosis or the specifics of the construct.\u00a0\u00a0Explain the case study.\u00a0\u00a0Explain the diagnostic or construct.\u00a0\u00a0Explain, in detail, what behaviors meet each diagnostic criterion.<\/p>\n
For example, I could select Schizotypal Personality Disorder, then select the character Travis Bickle from the movie Taxi Driver.\u00a0\u00a0Then, I would explain, in detail, what Schizotypal PD is, the diagnostic criteria, etc.\u00a0\u00a0Then, I\u2019d explain the character Travis Bickle in detail, explain the film.\u00a0\u00a0Then, I\u2019d connect specific behaviors of the Bickle to specific diagnostic criteria and justify my diagnosis of the character.<\/p>\n
Do not spend an extensive amount of time explaining it like a story.\u00a0\u00a0Your focus should be primarily on the disorder \/ construct and explaining the diagnostic criteria using the character \/ person you select to demonstrate it via a case study.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
