The American revolutionary war focused on fighting for justice and liberty. It started in 1775, and by July 1776, there was declaring of independence which illustrated the American’s foundation in politics, economics, legislation, and the formation of the constitution. The American colonies joined forces in 1775 to fight for liberty. However, various events led to the American revolutionary war, which resulted in a declaration of independence and the formation of the American government. The research project will utilize two primary and two secondary sources to illustrate the various events that contributed to the emergence of the American revolutionary, what later led to the declaration of independence, and the various consequences of the revolution evident today.

The secondary source will include Allison (2011) and Green & Pole (2008), while the primary sources will include books and journals that record first-hand information about the events unfolding before and during the American revolution and the declaration of independence and the subsequent consequences of American win over Britain such as Thacher (1827) and Force (1837). The primary sources also give an account of the causes of the war, such as statutory negligence and Americans’ responsive measures. The study’s target audience will be the stakeholders of American politics as the study will give an insight into the building blocks of the American economy, politics, and legislation through the revolutionary war and declaration of independence events. Different perspectives are used in studying the American revolutionary war and the declaration of independence. However, studying the documented historical events before, during, and after the war is critical to identify the political and economic foundations.

References

Allison, R.
