In this final paper, your task is to create a developmentally appropriate learning activity to apply your knowledge of the theories of child development you have learned about this semester. You may select a curriculum area and grade level of your choice. First you will describe the child development theories you have studied this semester. These theories form the foundation for the design of a learning activity that is appropriate for the age level of the students in the grade you have selected. Next you will discuss the general plan you have in place for promoting the cognitive, social\/emotional and moral development of the children in the class and how you will engage their parents. The outline and assignment writing schedule below will guide you in the organization and timely completion of this final paper. The requirements for the paper are that it be in APA format, contain 5 pages, and include the information listed in the outline below. This outline will serve as your assignment checklist and rubric.<\/p>\n
