Indians and English attempted joint use of land at first to resolve their differences. <\/p>\n<p> Few Indians chose to become Anglicized and livestock was a divisive issue for them. <\/p>\n<p> English livestock were foreign to the Indians and they compared them to wild animals. <\/p>\n<p> Raising and owning livestock went against the Indian lifestyle and was foreign. <\/p>\n<p> Livestock would disrupt the balance of Indian gender relations and calendar cycle. <\/p>\n<p> English livestock went against Indian spirituality of sharing nature with animals. <\/p>\n<p> Indian hostility towards Europeans stemmed from their livestock foraging in their fields. <\/p>\n<p> Despite Indian complaints to the English, their pigs still destroyed Indian food sources. <\/p>\n<p> Indians were held responsible when livestock were hurt by mistake in the woods.<\/p>\n<p> Indians wanted a fair system of resolving conflicts on their hunting grounds. <\/p>\n<p> Colonists imposed restrictions on Indian use of English land. <\/p>\n<p> Joint use of land further divided Indians and English instead of resolving issues. <\/p>\n<p> When Indians tried to restrict livestock from grazing the English made empty promises. <\/p>\n<p> Land disputes were complicated by English judicial jurisdictions. <\/p>\n<p> The courts asked local authorities to resolve livestock complaints. <\/p>\n<p> The English required Indians to fence in their fields before reparations were paid. <\/p>\n<p> Disputes further away from colonial government were not resolved fairly. <\/p>\n<p> When the legal system failed, Indians retaliated by killing and stealing livestock. <\/p>\n<p> Indian lifestyle was unable to exist with the English and they were left without options. <\/p>\n<p> Here is how you would summarize it in a paragraph:<\/p>\n<p> English settlers and Native Americans first attempted to use the land jointly to resolve their differences. A few Native Americans did attempt to follow English ways, but livestock lead to divisions within their tribes. Native American hostility towards the English stemmed from the fact that the settlers let their livestock forage in Indian fields. Land disputes arose, and when the legal system failed them, some Native Americans retaliated by killing or stealing livestock. Differences between the two groups became worse over time.<\/p>\n<p> What I did was use the \u201cIII\u201d for the first sentence, and then A, B, C, and D for the sentences that follow.
