Two large ferries are leaving Gotham: one full of criminals, the other occupied by\u00a0innocent citizens. Imagine that you are on the boat full of innocent citizens. The two\u00a0boats suddenly lose all power, and it becomes clear that both are wired with deadly\u00a0explosives. Detonators are discovered on each ferry, and they will set off the explosives\u00a0on the\u00a0other\u00a0ship. The Joker’s voice comes over the loudspeaker of the ferries, and he\u00a0announces that he is performing a \u201csocial experiment\u201d. One ferry\u2019s passengers must press\u00a0its detonator\u2019s button and destroy the other boat by midnight, or else the Joker will\u00a0explode both boats.
What should you do as a\u00a0passenger on the boat full of innocent\u00a0citizens? If one were to push the button and blow up the prisoners, what might that say about their character?
