For this assignment, you will continue to research more about your selected ethical challenge topic\/dilemma from one of three different perspectives: law, police or corrections. You will need at least three outside professional resources to aid in your analysis, including conducting an interview with a criminal justice professional about the ethical dilemma issue\/topic. Make sure you identify and confirm with your interviewee early and conduct the interview. You should include the following questions in your interview:
What would this person actually do about the ethical dilemma issue?
What criteria would he\/she use to make the decision?
Are there costs or consequences involved with the decision?
Is there a Code of Conduct that helps determine the answer?
What is the culture and\/or leadership dynamics within the agency that is relevant to the ethical dilemma?
Can you identify a crime control or due process fights-based perspective in your organization?
